Curated by artist Samson Young for NME15, 20 new duets were commissioned this year for young students and their teachers. Celebrating diverse musical approaches, these surprising and fun scores will be published internationally in early 2024, together with original illustrations by local printmakers from Hong Kong.

Sounding Tomorrow is a brand-new commissioning platform launched for NME15 in response to the rising interest in integrating the arts with new application of technology, with the specific aim of uniting composers, video/sound artists, new media artists and lighting designers from Hong Kong under one roof.

NME15 is a visionary series of interconnected projects that witness the HKNME breaking new grounds in areas of education, outreach, research, publication and performances for the ensemble’s 15 anniversary in 2023.
